This special session builds on the Journal of the Association for Consumer Research (JACR) January 2023 issue on Racism and Discrimination in the Marketplace. Presenting researchers will give short overviews of their papers and then convene a panel to discuss their approaches to the research, and the challenges and assumptions of studying these topics in varying global contexts.
